PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing easily in a short time, a tobacco material in which a composition of an enhanced ester flavor component and a component contributing to enhanced tobacco flavor and fragrance is hardly changed with the passage of time.SOLUTION: A production method of a tobacco material includes steps of: aging a shredded tobacco just before being used for production of a tobacco product in an atmosphere under a sealed condition; and adding polyol to the shredded tobacco after the aging step.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
