PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as an effluent treatment apparatus using electrolysis treatment, an effluent treatment apparatus capable of realizing, even in cases where quantities and states of scum have changed owing to quality variations of a body of treatment target water, scum separations commensurate with the changes assuredly and of maintaining a stable treated water quality.SOLUTION: The provided effluent treatment apparatus includes: an electrolytic cell 2 into which a body of treatment target water streams; an anode 3 and a cathode 4 arranged within the electrolytic cell 2; an aerator 11 arranged in the lower portion of the electrolytic cell 2 interior for feeding bubbles into the treatment target water having streamed into the electrolytic cell 2; water quality detection means for detecting properties of the treatment target water and/or treated water; and a controller 12 for controlling, based on detection results obtained from the water quality detection means, the diameter and/or volume of bubbles fed from the aerator 11. |
