The present invention relates to the field of the internet. Provided are an alarm method and an alarm device based on the distance between mobile terminals. The method comprises: recording a mobile communication terminal defined by a user, a threshold of a safe range defined by the user, and contact information defined by the user; matching a locator with the mobile communication terminal defined; determining whether or not the distance between the locator and the mobile communication terminal is within the threshold of the safe range; if yes, then maintaining a current state; and if not, issuing an alarm to the user on the basis of the contact information and pushing the location of the locator to the user. The present invention, specifically when serving as a child abduction prevention measure, allows the user to notify a guardian or relative in a timely manner when a child or another monitored subject exceeds a certain safe range and, by continually displaying the location of the locator to the guardian or relative, assists the guardian or relative in finding the child as early as possible. |
