The invention provides a remote elevator monitoring system and a terminal device. It is possible to quickly dispose maintenance crews at an accident field to deal even when a query about an elevator accident concentrates on a monitoring center. A fault management device (62) disposed in the monitoring center (22) is equipped with an emergency determining portion (62a) and an email sending portion (62b). The emergency determining portion (62a) determines the emergency of an elevator accident treated by an IVR device (61). The email sending portion (62b) sends an email to the terminal device held by a maintenance crew according to the emergency of the elevator accident in order to make a request for moving to the accident field. |
