PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of suppressing mutual intervention of a plurality of return cold air flows in a cooling chamber during a cooling operation, increasing a volume of air circulating in an interior of the refrigerator to improve a cooling capability, preventing natural convection from flowing into a return air course during a defrosting operation to inhibit degradation in defrosting efficiency.SOLUTION: A freezing room intake port 56 is provided in a front surface of a cooling chamber 43, a high-temperature intake port 58 is provided in a back surface of the cooling chamber 43, a lower end of the high-temperature intake port 58 is located above a defrosting heater 47, a protrusion 58a is provided on a lower end surface of the high-temperature intake port 58 to protrude from an upper end surface into the cooling chamber 43, and the freezing room intake port 56 is located below the high-temperature intake port 58. It is thereby possible to suppress mutual intervention of a plurality of return air flows during a cooling operation, increase a volume of the air circulating in a refrigerator, and improve a cooling capability. It is also possible to reduce a volume of an upward air flow generated from a surface of the defrosting heater 47 during a defrosting operation and flowing into the high-temperature intake port 58, and suppress degradation in defrosting efficiency. |
