PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce magnesia phosphate fertilizer from sewage sludge or night soil sludge at low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided an apparatus for producing magnesia phosphate fertilizer which includes: a magnesium source adding device 13 which adds a magnesium source MA to sewage sludge S1 or night soil sludge; and an incinerator 15 or a calcination furnace which incinerates or calcines sewage sludge or night soil sludge to which the magnesium source is added. Dewatered sludge, which is generated by adding the magnesium source to sewage sludge or night soil sludge and performing solid-liquid separation, or a product obtained by adding the magnesium source to dewatered sludge, which is generated by performing solid-liquid separation on sewage sludge or night soil sludge, can be incinerated or calcined at 950°C or higher and 1,100°C or lower, magnesium calcium phosphate is generated even at low temperature, and magnesia phosphate fertilizer which can supply two components being phosphate and magnesium can be produced. MgO concentration of incinerated product or calcined product is adjusted to be 10 mass % or higher and 25 mass % or lower. |
