The invention relates to a valve comprising a valve housing (12) through which a process medium can flow and in which a valve seat (17) that surrounds a through-flow opening (16) is arranged, wherein a valve element (18) which is arranged on a spindle (19) is paired with the valve seat such that the valve element (18) can be moved between a blocking position in which the valve element (18) sits against the valve seat (17) in a fluid-tight manner and an open position in which the valve element (18) is lifted from the valve seat (17) by means of an adjusting stroke of the spindle (19), and an interface (28) for coupling a drive unit which generates the adjusting stroke of the spindle (19) is arranged on the valve housing (12). A sealing device (38) through which the spindle (19) extends is received in the valve housing (12), said sealing device having a seal arrangement (39) which is biased by means of spring means and which comprises sealing means that sealingly rest against the spindle (19). The sealing device (38) is received in a seal cartridge (40) which is separate from the valve housing (12), which is designed as a pre-mounted assembly so as to be ready for operation, and which has a cartridge housing (41) that is secured or can be secured to the valve housing (12). The seal arrangement (39) and the spring means are received in the cartridge housing, and the seal arrangement (39) is spring-biased by the spring means relative to the cartridge housing (41). |
