The present invention is related with an aperture to connect an HMD (Helmet Mounted Display) to platform. The connection modules are used for different purposes in HMD systems. In general, these modules are used to store batteries to power NVGs during emergency conditions like platform power failures or surveillance outside the platform. Pilots generally carry the connection module on their bodies during the flight. This invention can be integrated to the platform, so the pilots should not need to carry the connection module on their bodies. Also, the invention stores the batteries in a mobile part which can be separated from the main body. With this capability, pilots should not need to carry the additional mass when they leave the platform. |
