1. A milk collection container for a wearable, portable self-powered breast pump system for pumping milk from a breast, the breast pump system including a pump mechanism including pumping structure and a mating receptacle, comprising:
a body, the body size and shaped to fit about pumping structure of the pump mechanism; and an extension extending from the body, the extension sized and shaped to couple with the mating receptacle of the breast pump system.
