PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain oriented magnetic steel sheet subjected to magnetic domain fragmentation treatment by an electron beam, capable of reducing noise when used as a transformer in order to have excellent iron loss, small magnetostriction and also small magnetostriction variation in a coil.SOLUTION: Strain is introduced by an electron beam having an acceleration voltage of 40-300 kV and a repetition interval of 30 mm or less in a rolling direction. When an electron beam diameter D right under an electron gun is 50 μm≤D≤500 μm; a deflection irradiation length in a width direction on a steel sheet by one electron gun is L (mm); and a distance from the center of a deflection coil to the steel sheet is WD (mm), the grain oriented magnetic steel sheet satisfies the relationship of WD>L/(2tan&thetas;), and &thetas;=10 deg. at L≥150. |
