PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track identification apparatus that is able to identify the type of a track by use of a simple system configuration and able to be manufactured at a low cost.SOLUTION: A track identification apparatus 20 comprises: imaging means 21 that is able to image the periphery of a tractor 1; storage means 22 storing the reference color information C, C, Cof a plurality of types of track; and control means 23 connected to the imaging means 21 and storage means 22. The control means 23 includes: a calculation section 24 configured to assume an area where a track is shown in an image imaged by the imaging means 21 and to calculate the average color information (C, C, C) of the area assumed that the track is shown therein; and a determining section 25 configured to determine the type of the track shown in the image, from the types of the track in the storage means 22 based on the reference color information C, C, Cstored in the storage means 22 and the average color information (C, C,C) calculated by the calculation section 24. |
