An inkjet recording device of the present invention is constructed in such a way that a head control circuit board generates a first drive waveform signal and a second drive wave-form signal. The first drive waveform signal ap-plies to the head a cancel pulse (C1) having a voltage (V3) (<V1) of the same polarity as a discharge pulse (P1) having a voltage (V1) and a pulse width (AL), and the cancel pulse (C1) is ap-plied 2AL later than the termination time point of the discharge pulse (P1). The second drive wave-form signal applies to the head a cancel pulse (C11) having a voltage (V2) (<V1) of the same polarity as a discharge pulse (P12) which follows a discharge pulse (P11) having the voltage (V1) and the pulse width (AL), and the cancel pulse (C11) is applied from the termination time point of the discharge pulse (P12). |
