PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a simple and lightweight inlet structure of a jet engine.SOLUTION: A jet engine includes an inlet that is formed between first and second cowls. When seen along an air stream flowing into the inlet, a tip of the first cowl is positioned on an upstream side with respect to a tip of the second cowl. A tip part of the second cowl is a disappearance part that disappears with time during flight. |
