[Class 44] In a keyholder loop-members 10, preferably formed by bending up a tongue of a blank integral with a gapped annular portion 8 forming a base, are snapped into apertures 5 in a plate fitting 3 adapted to be secured as by rivets in a leather &c: folder or purse in the usual way. The loop 10 ends in a foot 11 freely movable in and substantially closing the gap in the base 8 which nests rotatably in a recess in the back of the plate formed by an embossed portion 6 round the aperture 5. The key receiving member comprises a loop 13 the limbs of which are crossed and terminate in hooks 15, 16 which normally register to form a loop engaged in the'loop 10. One end is bifurcated to provide a pair of hooks 15 side by side, the end 16 of reduced width moving between them. The hook ends are separable, as in Fig. 3, for attachment to or removal from the loop 10, by squeezing the limbs of part 13 together. When detached the key is passed over one of the hook ends into the bight of part 13.</p> |
