PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device having a small size and a simple structure, in which an ink receiving tray to be used during detection of ejection and an ink receiving tray to be used during maintenance of a head can be commonly used.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device includes a light projection unit 122 for projecting light, including a collimator lens 134 for focusing light emitted from LD131, a cylindrical lens 135 and an aperture 126 in which a shaping hole 126a is formed; a measuring unit 123 having a space S where the light projected from the light projection unit 122 is directed to ink droplets, and having a through-hole 127 formed for measuring the light; and an ejection detection unit 8 for detecting the ink droplets, and further includes an ink receiving tray 83 capable of moving in a vertical direction and capable of receiving idly ejected ink, wherein the ink receiving tray 83 is configured so as to move to a position where the shaping hole 126a of the light projection unit 122 and the through-hole 127 of the measuring unit 123 are closed by an end part 194 when the ink receiving tray 83 receives the idly ejected ink. |
