PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve size reduction of an optical amplifier module including an amplifier unit in a casing and having an optical-fiber-excess-length storage unit formed therein.SOLUTION: An optical amplifier module 3 includes: a casing 30 to which optical connectors 12C and 12D are attached; a booster amplifier unit 15 amplifying an optical signal input via the optical connector 12C and outputting the amplified optical signal to the optical connector 12D for output; an attenuator 324 arranged on a second principal surface 32b of a sub-substrate 32, and attenuating the optical signal input to the booster amplifier unit 15 with designated attenuation; and a plurality of optical fibers connecting the optical connectors 12C and 12D, the attenuator 324, and the booster amplifier unit 15 to one another, and a first excess-length-storage unit 14a storing an excess length part of each optical fiber is formed between a front panel 300 on a first principal surface 32a of the sub-substrate 32 and the booster amplifier unit 15. |
