PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which suppresses a columnar resonance sound without deteriorating wet performance.SOLUTION: Narrow-width main groove portions 32, where the width of center main grooves 14 becomes narrower than other ones of the center main grooves 14 portions, are provided at multiple points spaced in the extending direction of the center main grooves 14. The narrow-width main groove portions 32 provided respectively on the center main grooves 14 at both sides of a center rib 22 are provided at points shifted in phase in the tire circumferential direction. At the side portions of the narrow-width main groove portions 32 at the ground-contact front end sides of both end portions of the narrow-width main groove portions 32 in the extending direction of each of the center main grooves 14, drain lateral grooves 34 are provided which communicate with the center main grooves 14 and extended outside in the tire width direction. The drain lateral grooves 34, one of a plurality of lug grooves 20, are formed as wide-width lug grooves 36, which are wider in width than other ones of the lug grooves 20. |
