The instrument (1) has a body (2) extending longitudinally along a central axis (C), and a staple (8) attached to a portion of the body, where the staple extends parallel to the central axis. The staple and the portion of the body are integral and made of partially amorphous metal alloy, where the metal alloy is selected from one of gold, platinum, palladium, rhenium, ruthenium, rhodium, silver, iridium or osmium. The staple and the portion of body are made out of completely amorphous material such as cobalt, beryllium or nickel. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a writing instrument (2) a protection element for a writing tip of the instrument. |
