PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regenerate snubber energy even if parallely-connected chopper circuits operate at wide-range step-up ratio and in a current continuous mode.SOLUTION: A first turn-off snubber circuit 17, which is composed of a diode Da1 that is a first element, a capacitor Ca that is a second element, and a diode Da2 that is a third element, is provided to first and second chopper circuits 15 and 16. Gate signals S1 and S2 are controlled so that an IGBT Q2 becomes an on-state when an IGBT Q1 turns off. When the IGBT Q1 turns off from a state in which the IGBTs Q1 and Q2 are on, the capacitor Ca is charged via the diode Da1. When the IGBT Q2 turns off, the capacitor Ca is discharged via the diode Da2. As a result, snubber energy stored in the capacitor Ca is regenerated to a load 3. |
