PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination of a piston ring for a diesel engine using a piston ring including a top ring, a second ring and an oil ring, stably obtaining an effect of reducing oil consumption and friction by suppressing dispersion in friction performance between a piston and a cylinder bore wall surface.SOLUTION: The combination of the piston ring for the diesel engine is formed using the piston ring including the top ring, the second ring and the oil ring as the combination of the piston ring. In the combination of the piston ring adopted for the diesel engine, the tension ratio of the top ring or oil ring to a cylinder bore diameter satisfies each condition of A/D≤0.25 and C/D=0.10-0.36, wherein A is the tension (N) of the top ring, C is the tension (N) of the oil ring, and D is the cylinder bore diameter (mm). |
