A method of manufacturing an open-cell flower foam, the method comprising creating a mixture by mixing at least one polymerisable constituent, at least one blowing agent, at least one surfactant, and at least one plant food in granular form; and in which polymerisation of the polymerisable constituent is initiated such that the mixture generates a substantially solid open-cell flower foam. This provides a method of creating flower foam where the plant food is retained in the final foam. The plant food may have a granule size between 0.1mm 5mm. The plant food may be added after polymerization has been initiated but before polymerization is complete. |
