PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a radio communication device in a local area network comprising a plurality of radio communication devices.SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises: a first radio communication unit for performing radio communication with at least one radio slave unit; a second radio communication unit for performing radio communication with at least one other radio communication device; a power supply unit for supplying power to the first radio communication unit; and a radio control unit for obtaining reception quality of notices each received from the radio slave units by the first radio communication unit and for instructing the power supply unit to stop supplying power if the reception quality of all the radio slave units is no better than that of any of the other radio communication devices. |
