PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a textural-change exfoliation of a rolling bearing by using a steel exhibiting an excellent turning property even when a usual quenching temperature is adopted.SOLUTION: An inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2 are obtained by forming a material consisting of an alloy steel with a chromium content [Cr] of 0.9-1.8 mass% into a predetermined shape, then carbonitriding, quenching, and annealing the material. An Si/Mn-based nitride is dispersed in a raceway surface in a range of 1.0-5.0% by the area ratio. At a point of depth corresponding to 0.01 times of a diameter of a ball 3 from a surface of the raceway surface, a nitrogen content [N] is 0.05 mass% or higher, an amount of residual austenite is 20-40 vol.%, and a compressive residual stress is 100-500 MPa. |
