PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety control system which is configured with one processor having a drive control function and a safety function and yet is capable of preventing malfunction of the drive control function from adversely effecting the safety function.SOLUTION: A CPU 2 has a non-safety unit (drive control function) and redundant safety units α and &bgr;. When an address range allocated to each of the safety units α and &bgr; as a data storage area is 5000-5FFF for the safety unit α and 6000-6FFF for the safety unit &bgr;, the non-safety unit is prohibited from accessing these data storage areas. The non-safety unit is naturally allowed to access (read from/write to) a data storage area (address range of 7000-7FFF) associated therewith. |
