PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method which is capable of reliably notifying a user of contents of a setting change.SOLUTION: An operation unit 120 is provided in an image forming apparatus 100 which executes predetermined processing corresponding to a predetermined operation mode. The operation unit 120 includes: a display panel 132; and a touch panel 134 for making the setting change required for execution of the predetermined process. When the setting change is made by the touch panel 134, CPU300 causes the display panel 132 to display change information indicating the change contents for a predetermined time. |
