PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap tread rubber composition for a tire for a heavy load, in which high mileage property, heat ageing resistance, bending crack resistance and wear resistance are improved in a good balance, and to provide a tire for a heavy load manufactured by using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The cap tread rubber composition for a tire for a heavy load comprises: a modified natural rubber that is highly purified and adjusted to a pH of 2 to 7; butadiene rubber; and carbon black and/or a white filler. In 100 mass% of the rubber component, the content of the butadiene rubber is 5 to 50 mass%. |
