The invention relates to processes for formulating melts comprising at least one salt of the general formula CaxAl2(OH)2(?+3)-nyAy n- *mH2O,in which x is from 2 to 12, y is from 0 to (2×+5)/2, m is from 0 to 12 and n is from 1 to 3, to moldings produced therefrom and to the use of these moldings for stabilization of preferably halogenated polymers.
