PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traceability management system and method capable of collecting history information on production or maintenance in real time without imposing an excessive load on a worker.SOLUTION: A traceability management system comprises: a database 2 which stores a plurality of work processes in association with materials used in each work process; a material identification information acquiring unit 303 acquiring material identification information on a work target material from a worker terminal; a work process information transmitting unit 304 reading out information indicating a work target process related to the work target material from the database 2 on the basis of the material identification information and transmitting the information to the worker terminal; a start signal acquiring unit 308 acquiring a start signal of the work target process from the worker terminal; an end signal acquiring unit 309 acquiring an end signal of the work target process from the worker terminal; a positional information acquiring unit 305 acquiring positional information on the work target material; and a history information outputting unit 310 outputting history information on the work target material on the basis of the start and end signals and the positional information. |
