PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GHG-containing composition containing GHG at high concentration, the composition being derived from a natural product, and to provide a production method thereof.SOLUTION: The characteristics of the invention for solving the above-mentioned subject are as follows. 1. A 1, 2-di-O-galloyl-4,6-O-(S)-hexahydroxydiphenoyl-b-D-glucose-containing composition characterized by being obtained from purple tea from Kenya (Scientific Name: Camellia Sinensis, Cultivar Name: TRFK306) and containing 3-99% of 1,2-di-O-galloyl-4,6-O-(S)-hexahydroxydiphenoyl-b-D-glucose. 2. A production method of a 1,2-di-O-galloyl-4,6-O-(S)-hexahydroxydiphenoyl-b-D-glucose-containing composition characterized by immersing a purple tea from Kenya (Scientific Name: Camellia Sinensis, Cultivar Name: TRFK306) into a polar solvent (including also water), subsequently, heating and refluxing it to extract 1,2-di-O-galloyl-4,6-O-(S)-hexahydroxydiphenoyl-b-D-glucose into a solvent. 3. A fat absorption inhibitor containing purple tea from Kenya (Scientific Name: Camellia sinensis, Cultivar Name: TRFK306) and/or extract thereof as an active ingredient.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
