PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release polyester film having a low coefficient of dynamic friction on a polyester film surface, no coarse projections on the polyester film surface, and good visibility, which is useful for various purposes of releasing, such as releasing a liquid crystal polarizing plate, releasing a liquid crystal protection film, a photoresist, a multilayer substrate, or production of a ceramic green sheet.SOLUTION: A release film comprises a multilayer polyester film containing substantially no particles and stretched in at least in a uniaxial direction, contains a nucleating agent in one of the outermost layers of the film, and has a release layer on the outermost layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
