[Problem] To provide a new electroless plating undercoat agent for use as a pretreatment step for electroless plating, said agent being environmentally friendly and easily processed in few steps, while allowing fine wires measuring several microns in width to be easily formed by photolithography. [Solution] A photosensitive undercoat agent for forming a metal plating film upon a base material by electroless plating, said agent including (a) a hyperbranched polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000-5,000,000 and having an ammonium group at a molecule terminal, (b) fine metal particles, (c) a polymerizable compound having one or more (meth)acryloyl groups per molecule, (d) a photopolymerization initiator, (e) an amine compound, and (f) a polyfunctional thiol. |
