The invention relates to a device (1) for positioning products (2), which comprises: a conveying means (3) for moving said products (2) in a longitudinal conveying direction (4), the products resting on said means with the bottom portion thereof on a conveying plane (5); and an action means creating a longitudinal speed difference in the product (2), causing same to rotate about an axis (7) perpendicular to the conveying plane (5). Said device is characterised in that the action means comprises a block (6) which is stationary in the conveying direction (4) and movable through the conveying plane (5), selectively forming by the upper portion thereof a surface in contact with the bottom of the products (2).
