PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for manufacturing a group 13 nitride crystal using molten salt as a solvent.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a crystal consisting of group 13 nitride comprises: i) preparing molten salt; ii) placing a surface for precipitating a group 13 nitride crystal in the molten salt; iii) supplying a group 13 source including a group 13 element salt to the molten salt, iv) supplying ammonia to the molten salt; and v) electrochemically reducing a part of the molten salt to dissolve the formed reduction product in the molten salt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
