A method and device for restricting massive service requests are useful to restrict a behavior of making massive service requests and to overcome some defects in the prior art. The method comprises: receiving, by a service end, service request information sent by a terminal (S11); sending, by the service end, a computing problem to the terminal, wherein the terminal has a higher demand for computing resources to the computing problem than the demand for computing resources to the service end (S12); receiving, by the service end, a computing result of the problem computed by the terminal (S13); verifying, by the service end, the result (S14); if the result is correct, providing services to the terminal (S15), if the result is incorrect, refusing to provide services to the terminal (S16). |
