Provided is a rotating post for a vehicle-mounted crane, the rotating post being configured so that the size thereof does not increase even if the width of a boom is increased. A rotating post (5) for a vehicle-mounted crane is provided with: a bottom plate (51) provided on the rotating base of the vehicle-mounted crane; and a pair of side plates (521, 521) provided on the bottom plate (51) so as to extend upward from the left and right, with respect to the vehicle, of the bottom plate (51). The pair of side plates (521, 521) are each formed in a flat plate-like shape. The upper portions (5211, 5211) of the pair of side plates (521, 521) are formed so that the distance (W1) between the upper portions (5211, 5211) is greater than the distance between the lower portions (5213, 5213) of the pair of side plates (521, 521). |
