PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of hydrocarbon using saturated hydrocarbon as a raw material without needs for high temperature for proceeding a reaction compared to a reaction accompanying hydrogen molecule generation in a condensation reaction of saturated hydrocarbon accompanying generation of a compound with high atom efficiency and/or high value as a chemical compared to generation of water, having reduced by-products such as oxide of ethylene, CO or COthan in unsaturated hydrocarbon manufacturing using saturated hydrocarbon and oxygen as raw materials and without needs for severe concentration control of introduction raw materials for safety.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of hydrocarbon including a process X for reacting a mixed gas containing saturated hydrocarbon a having molar fraction of 0.05 to 0.999 and 1 to 6 carbon atoms and unsaturated hydrocarbon x having molar fraction of 0.001 to 0.95 and 2 to 12 carbon atoms in a presence of a catalyst to manufacture hydrocarbon b having a carbon skeleton equal to a carbon skeleton of the unsaturated hydrocarbon x.SELECTED DRAWING: None
