PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oscillator capable of reducing a thickness of an entire device while preventing degradation of a thermistor by not accommodating a thermistor and a crystal piece in the same space, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A crystal oscillator 1 including a crystal resonator 5 includes: a tabular substrate 3; an encapsulating part 9, provided on one principle plane side of the tabular substrate 3, for encapsulating the crystal resonator 5; and a thermistor film 7, formed on the other principle plane side of the tabular substrate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
