摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength of a radiation image conversion panel in a radiation image detecting device.SOLUTION: A radiation image detecting device comprises: a radiation image conversion panel including a fluorescent body 118 containing a fluorescent substance which emits fluorescence by radiation exposure; and a sensor panel 3 which detects fluorescence emitted from the radiation image conversion panel and converts the fluorescence into an electric signal. The fluorescent body has: a columnar part 134 formed by a group of columnar crystal in which crystal of the fluorescent substance is grown in columnar shapes; and a non-columnar part 136. The columnar part 134 and the non-columnar part 136 are integrally formed in a superposed manner on the sensor panel 3 in order of the non-columnar part 136 and the columnar part 134 in a crystal growth direction in the columnar part 134, and the thickness of the non-columnar part 136 along the crystal growth direction is uneven at least in a partial region of the non-columnar part 136.
