In order to provide a signal processing device in which sudden changes in the rate of change of an output signal can be reduced, the signal processing device according to the means for solving the problem of the present invention is configured so that a smoothing signal is generated on the basis of the deviation between two signals so as to have a value greater than the values of the two signals between two points of intersection with the two signals when a signal having a high value is selected, or the smoothing signal is generated on the basis of the deviation between the two signals so as to have a value less than the value of the two signals between two points of intersection with the two signals when a signal having a low value is selected. The signal processing device therefore reduces sudden changes in the rate of change of a signal during switching between two signals. The reduction is achieved by using a smoothing signal between two points from the point of intersection of one of the signals with the smoothing signal to the point of intersection of the other signal. |
