PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam generator which improves the energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A steam generator 1 comprises: a tank part 2; tubes 25 through which hot water serving as a heat source circulates, the tubes 25 being disposed in the tank part 2 extending in a horizontal direction; a hot water supply line L1 which supplies the hot water to the tubes 25; a hot water discharge line L2 which discharges the hot water from the tubes 25; spray nozzles 23 which are disposed above the tubes 25 in the tank part 2 and spray water to the tubes 25; steam lead out parts 24 which are provided at upper parts of the tank part 2 and lead out steam generated in the tank part 2; a spray water supply line L4 which supplies the water stored at a lower part of the tank part 2 to the spray nozzles 23; and a spray water supply pump 7 which is provided in the spray water supply line L4. A depth direction length of the tank part 2 is longer than a height direction length of the tank part 2. |
