PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder of which the throughput related to printing can be improved, the inkjet recorder having a constitution in which a recording head is moved to a retreat position after finishing recording on one surface of recording paper.SOLUTION: In a case where it is determined that a recording medium is held between a first conveying part and a second conveying part when finishing recording on the recording medium, a retreat controller moves a recording part to the predetermined retreat position, while the first conveying part and the second conveying part are allowed to convey the recording medium to a downstream side in a conveying direction. In a case where the recording medium is held between the first conveying part and the second conveying part, there are few possibilities that the recording medium rises between the first conveying part and the second conveying part. As a result, even if the recording part is moved to the predetermined retreat position while conveying the recording medium to the downstream side in the conveying direction, the recording medium does not come into contact with a nozzle, and the throughput related to printing can be improved. |
