Control system and method for synchronising clocks in a network

The method involves communicating two nodes with each other. A global time of a day, which is sent from a sending node, is received in a receiving node. A global time of the day of the receiving node is determined or estimated as a local time of the day of the particular local clock of the receiving node depends on the received global time of the day of the sending node. An independent claim is included for a circuit arrangement for synchronization of the clocks in a network with multiple nodes.
