PURPOSE:To reduce contamination of the front of a decorative board by a heating air containing fats and oils of an object to be cooked and reduce corrosion of the decorative board by moisture content contained in the object to be cooked and steam from a steam generating device. CONSTITUTION:A decorative board 5, formed in an approximately U-shape in cross section, engages with and is supported at its ends to opposite projections 6 formed on the inner front part of a handle 3, the decorative board being located at a distance on the support surface part of a door 2. A reference numeral 8 is a decorative board having a tilting part 9 at the front part and formed in an approximately V-shape in cross section, and an about 2-7mm. gap is formed between a forward end 10 of the tilting part 9 and a rear end 11 of the decorative board 5. Steam or evaporated moisture content and a heating air containing fats and oils from the inside of a cooking chamber forms a rising current, and a negative pressure is generated by the rising current through the 2-7mm. gap between the decorative board 5 and the decorative board 8 to produce a branch stream flowing in a manner to lick the front surface of the decorative board 8. |
