PURPOSE: To improve the design properties by improving the operability of mounting a guard wire in an air outlet. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger 3 and an air supply fan 4 provided in an air passage for coupling a suction port 2 formed at a body 1 with an air outlet 5, right and left wind direction plates 6 and upper and lower wind direction plates 10 provided from the rear in the outlet 5, and a fan guard 8 opposed to the fan 4 in the outlet 5 to prevent the hand contact, wherein the guard 8 is formed in a lattice state, and the rear end 8b of the vertical lattice 8a of the guard 8 is locked to a locking hole 9 provided at the lower wall 5b of the outlet 5 between the plates 6 and the fan 4. On the other hand, the front end is fixed to the mount 5c provided at the upper wall 5a of the outlet 5. |
