PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture sensor capable of accurately measuring a moisture content and being practical.SOLUTION: A moisture sensor includes: optical fiber 21 in which a sensing part 2 for sensing distortion is provided; a swell material 23 that swells or contracts according to the state of absorption of water or dryness; and a distortion action auxiliary mechanism for making distortion 26 generated accompanied by swell and contraction of the swell material 23 act in the direction of the optical axis of the optical fiber of the sensing part 2. In the distortion action auxiliary mechanism, there are provided distortion receiving surfaces 37 for receiving the distortion 26, two distortion receiving parts 24a and 24b connected with both ends side of the sensing part of the optical fiber 21, respectively, and a moisture content permeation member 22 disposed from the periphery of one distortion receiving part 24a to the other distortion receiving part 24b. The swell material 23 is filled in a space surrounded by the two distortion receiving parts 24a and 24b and the moisture content permeation member 22. |
