Electric drive for a press

The electric drive device has a drive train (1) provided with an eccentric shaft (2). A main motor (5) e.g. pressing motor is connected with eccentric shaft via a gear (6). An auxiliary motor (7) e.g. radial segment motor is directly connected with eccentric shaft. The coils (8) and permanent magnets (9) are grouped and arranged in segments in the radial segment motor.
