Manufacturing method for a rib of an aerodynamic engine strut fairing involving superplastic forming and splicing

The method involves realizing a rib preform, by superplastic forming, where the preform comprises a quadrilateral contour and a central opening (52) traversing the rib preform, the rib preform is made from titanium and TAV6 alloy. The preform is divided into two parallel straight-line segments, where one of the segments connects a corner of the contour to the opening. Two rib preform half-parts (46a', 46a'') are fishplated by bolting to obtain a stiffening transverse internal rib (46). An independent claim is also included for a lower rear aerodynamic fairing lower aft aerodynamic fairing for mounting device of engine interposed between wing surface of an aircraft and an engine.
