A laundry treating applicator (10) for drying laundry with a radio frequency (RF) applicator (10) having a baffle (22) on a drum (12) rotatable on a non-vertical axis (14), an anode element (26) in the baffle (22) and a cathode element (32) spaced from the anode element (26), wherein energization of the RF generator (36) sends electromagnetic radiation through the applicator (10) via the anode element (26) and cathode element (32) to form a field of electromagnetic radiation (e-field) in the radio frequency spectrum to dielectrically heat liquid within laundry disposed within the e-field. |
