PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulation structure in which a heat insulation layer is provided for a combustion chamber of an engine and which is improved in resistance to heat stress, stress by a mechanical shock, and so on.SOLUTION: A heat insulation structure of an engine combustion chamber includes a heat insulation layer 10 on a surface of an engine component defining the combustion chamber of the engine. The heat insulation layer 10 contains inorganic oxide particles 14. An edge portion of the heat insulation layer 10 further contains heat resistant resin, and gradually becomes thinner. |
