PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved technique related to an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus when diagnosing plaque stuck to a blood vessel wall.SOLUTION: A reference region setting part 30 sets an analysis reference region at a plurality of parts of plaque with a display reference region set so as to surround the plaque as a reference inside image data. A tracking processing part 50 tracks a position of the display reference region over a plurality of time phases inside the image data by pattern matching processing in which the display reference region is a template. A moving amount computing part 60 calculates a moving amount between the time phases of the part corresponding to the analysis reference region for each analysis reference region by pattern matching processing for which the analysis reference region is a template. An image forming part 70 forms a display image indicating the moving amount corresponding to each of the plurality of parts of the plaque while fixing the overall display position of the plaque over the plurality of time phases with the tracked position of the display reference region as a reference. |
